meadow pipit, anthus pratensis

THE HEADER ON THIS PAGE IS THE LITTLE CATTLE EGRET;- RESTING ON A BANANA TREE.
THE CLOSEST I HAVE BEEN TO ONE OF THESE,   WHAT I CALL THE FARMERS FRIEND. THE REST OF THE SHOTS WILL BE ON THE NEXT BLOG.

Not such good shots it must have been camera shy, CAN NOT WIN THEM ALL.
TREE RAT.THESE ARE A DIFFERENT RAT TO THOSE WE SEE AROUND THE GARBAGE.
 THEY LIVE ON BERRIES  ETC,

Roof rats are arboreal (tree-living) by nature. They are similar to squirrels in their ability to move through trees and along vines and wires.,
while walking home along the main road I saw these two bats  hanging on the mains electricity wires
one was dead  the other seemed to be alive??
skink wondering whether its safe to come out of its hide hole.
A flock of sparrows eating the newly sown corn seed so was the hooded crow.
who me,
A few yards down the path  this little beauty posed for me ;- who is it?
will tell you on my next post
